About the Central Contra Costa United Democratic Campaign

The Central Contra Costa United Democratic Campaign (CCCUDC) is a volunteer organization dedicated to helping more Democrats get elected at all levels of government and to support Democratic issues. We are a unified effort of our affiliated Democratic Clubs. Our focus is in the central portion of Contra Costa County and the county's I-680 corridor.

The activities of the CCCUDC include:

  • Supporting Democratic candidates;
  • Funding and managing one or more campaign offices;
  • Promoting voter registration events;
  • Developing, maintaining, and utilizing voter and volunteer databases;
  • Raising funds to support candidates and our activites;
  • Helping our growing group of active volunteers, people dedicated to promoting Democratic values and goals.

The CCCUDC Board of Directors meets on the second Wednesday evening of each month. The Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from each of the affiliated Democratic Clubs within our area and such other Democrats as may be helpful in promoting and supporting our stated activities.

The members of the CCCUDC are the paid members of all of our affiliated Democratic Clubs.

The Central Contra Costa United Democratic Campaign (CCCUDC) has recently opened its first year-round office in Concord.   The office provides meeting space for a wide variety of Democratic events, activities organized by local candidates, committees working on important issues, educational programs and fairs to support county Democratic services, and training of campaign workers.

Congressmember George Miller, representing a major portion of Contra Costa County said, “This office represents a major step forward in enhancing the political clout of the Democratic Party and is a model for other county Democratic groups.”

This office is located at 2737 Clayton Road, Concord. Our telephone number is 925-979-1050. For more information on the campaign office, please call 925-979-1050 or contact Sandy Heuer (sandraheuer@comcast.net) or Rao Kaza (rkaza2@yahoo.com).
